To avoid shaky video, I use an iOgrapher mount for my phone. The VideoMic also from Rode mounts on your smartphone. The video micro mounts on a camera or tripod or works as a handheld microphone. The first time I used it I was in a busy pub but my interview subject could still be heard perfectly.
